Gas Analysis Rakes
Gas analysis rakes suitable for operating in engine exhaust gas streams of 1,300°C upwards are available and these too can be water cooled and thermal barrier coated to withstand exhaust temperatures in excess of 1,500°C. Some examples are shown below.
Standard gas analysis rake designs for typically 1,500°C operating temperature, water cooled and or thermal barrier coatings as may be required.
Rake life expectancy is usually short - 20 hours plus operation is typical but with careful design and manufacture prolonged life expectancy can be towards 70 hours.
The traverse systems can be supplied to interface to customers own exhaust gas data analysis system or the complete exhaust traversing and exhaust gas analysis package can be provided by Rotadata Limited.
