Measurement Services
Rotadata System Support Engineers are available to
provide you with a comprehensive after sales service
for the products you have purchased. Rotadata system
support can assist you with installing and setting to work
our products on your engine and in undertaking ‘trouble
shooting’ in the unlikely event that the product does not
work as specified.
Some of our products require periodic re-calibration to
ensure they will operate for many years always meeting
the measurement tolerances and repeatability profiles
defined for the product at initial purchase.
We recommend that our optical smoke meters, actuated
traverse systems, tip grind (Rotagage) measurement
systems and optical pyrometers are re-calibrated at least
once every year.
If required annual service contracts are available which
remove the uncertainty that your Rotadata measuring
equipment may not function within calibration and
repeatability tolerances.
Measurement Services and Engine Diagnostics
Whilst all our products can be used by engine makers for the testing and development of their engines, certain products, such as pyrometers, tip clearance and BTT systems, are available to engine makers and operators to be used to predict engine parts operational failure or ‘lifetime extension’ predictions.
