RotaTel
Is an ‘end of shaft’ power induced optical link
system similar in design and size to our RitaTel system. The
system will transmit simultaneously 72 dynamic strain and 50
temperature channels of data at a maximum rotational speed
of 25,000 revolutions per minute (rpm).
The RotaTel telemetry unit can be used to measure dynamic or static strain, pressure and temperature on any rotating machine some of which include industrial gas turbines, aero-engines, power generating gas turbines and space propulsion engines.
Rotatel was our original digital telemetry unit and has now mostly been replaced in use by our Ritatel system.
