EndoRota
The versatile EndoRota digital telemetry system has been developed by Rotadata to transmit dynamic and static strain, temperature and pressure sensor signals from the rotating discs and blades of military and civil aero engines during engine development and performance testing.
EndoRota is a compact telemetry unit eminently suitable for the flight-testing of all aero engines. It is a power induced, optical link telemetry system specifically designed for locating in a variety of configurations at the end (front or rear) of engine shafts. Instrumentation wires from the sensors attached to the engine rotor and blades connect directly into the telemetry units Intermediate Bearing Assembly (IBA).
In its standard configuration EndoRota will transmit simultaneously 24 dynamic strain, 4 static strain and 20 temperature sensor instrumentation signals.
- Maximum rotational speed : 20,000 rpm.
- Maximum dynamic out of balance (vibration): 1.0 mm/second.
- The maximum environmental temperature for the unit is 90°C.
- Rotadata is a full service company which offers a complete design, manufacture, installation and support service.
