Cryogenic Tip Clearance and Gap Measurement System.
For aero space applications we supply tip clearance and gap measurement equipment suitable for operating in cryogenic environments at temperatures down to minus 130° Centigrade measuring in parahydrogen and similar fluid environments.
Impeller to inside casing gap distances up to 1.5 mm can be measured using our miniaturised cryogenic capacitance probes. The cryogenic probe tip is typically 4.0 mm outside diameter and can be supplied configured for radial or tangential entry into the stator casing.
