Actuated Traverse Systems : Mass Flow Control Actuators (MCA’s)
Mass flow control actuators are available for traversing large rakes, probes and aerodynamic models in engines and wind tunnels. Actuator control can be either via a heavy duty combi controller or directly from a computer to the actuator motor drives.

Example of a mass flow control actuator used for radially traversing a comb rake across an engine intake.

Example of a radial/yaw actuator assembled to traverse an optical pyrometer sight tube into an engine.
